Children's Ministry

"Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God."

Currently, anyone 12 years of age or older, is expected to join the adults in the main service. For those who are under the age of 12, you have the option of having them participate in our children’s ministry. However, they are welcome in the main service as long as they don’t cause a distraction to others.

The primary aim of the Children's Ministry of Calvary Fayette is to consistently present the love of Jesus Christ to our pupils. As long as there remains the possibility that a child would enter our classes without knowing who Jesus is, we will remain steadfast in putting Jesus at the forefront of our time together.

"And that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus."

Another goal of the Ministry is to put a premium on the reading and the knowing of the Word of God. As such, the curriculum we teach progresses "chapter by chapter" through selective books of the Bible throughout each quarter. Memory verses and group reading are used to instill joy in the knowledge of the Scriptures.

Finally, we challenge children that are willing to volunteer to aid the adults as well as display their understanding of Christian concepts through art . We strive to create and atmosphere of servant-hood and sacrifice for the sake of others.

For security, we do have a check-in and check-out procedure for the children’s ministry.
